Its purple colour suggests many roses which beautify our vineyard and specially the historic chief-place of Le Bois d’Oingt, nicknamed the Village of Roses. It is in homage to Louis PRADEL, a native of this village, that the Bois- d'Oingt has been decorated for decades with a multitude of roses.

TASTING NOTES
Deep purple-garnet robe, of very good intensity, clear, bright with lively violet reflections.
The nose is very open, expressive, of great intensity, blending small wild black fruits (blueberry, blackberry) to unfold into spicy notes (white pepper) and even licorice, Zan, with a floral finish (peony); a lot of finesse and elegance.
The palate lives up to the complexity of the nose with a full-bodied attack, round and silky tannins endowed with great finesse; it evolves on a beautiful spicy aromatic palette blending small black fruits and floral notes, licorice, Zan, with a peppery finish; the overall texture is rich, with a nice balance of sweetness and acidity, a beautiful freshness, giving it a very good length.
