Première Flamme is a single grain whisky (corn and malted barley), is the fruit of the careful assembly of the best heavily charred American oak barrels, as well as ex-Armagnac and ex-Bourbon, having matured between 4 and 5 years.
TASTING NOTES:
On the nose, Première Flamme offers notes of tonka, caramel, vanilla and cocoa. Its mouth is full and rich, greedy and long.
ELABORATION:
Première Flamme is a single-grain whisky that draws its roots in the terroir of the Bas-Armagnac, also famous for its corn production. This corn (54%), grown on the estate, malted barley from France (46%), a slow distillation in the copper column still, give the whisky a unique personality. The choice of American oak barrels strongly charred (3 & 4), ex-Bourbon barrels of first quality and ex-Armagnac give Première Flamme a style that will mark your tasting experience.
