Spring Bay Tasmanian Single Malt Whisky Chardonnay Apera Cask 46% 700ML

Colour:  Amber.

Nose: Gentle oak with butter scotch, sweet florals, orange rind and dried apricots, with a delicate wisp of malt in the background.

Palate:  Upfront sweet citrus peel and honey, flowing into a soft broad mid pallet of raisins. Warmth builds as it moves to the back pallet with rich oak caramels and a hint of clove.

Finish:  Balance of oak, Chardonnay and Apera, lingering dried fruits and butter caramels, reminiscent of a good Armagnac.
