Wilfrid Rousse - AOC Chinon Les Pieds Rôtis Blanc 2024 12.5% 750ML

The Domaine de Wilfrid Rousse, in Organic Agriculture, is located on the right bank of the Vienne river, west of Chinon. In 1987, the year of the first vintage, the estate had only one hectare in production; then over the years, by taking care to choose the terroirs and to have a harmony in the soils and the exposure of the vines, the number of parcels has increased to 19 hectares.

LOCATION This cuvée comes from the place called 'les pieds roasts' in the town of THIZAY

TERROIR Limestone and gravel soil.

IN THE VINEYARD The estate is conducted in Organic Agriculture and is located on the right bank of the Vienne river, west of Chinon. It covers 19.5 hectares, 18 of which are planted with Cabernet Franc called Breton.

WINEMAKING Aging in stainless steel vats, no chemicals are used, respect for the terroir and the maintenance of soil life, vinified with native yeasts.

VARIETAL Chenin blanc 100% No sulphites.

AGEING POTENTIAL Enjoy all year long, 3 to 5 years 

TASTING The nose is floral, with notes of exotic fruits, pomelos, the palate is vibrant, salivating, fruity with a very nice length. 

FOOD PAIRING Aperitif, Loire fish, white meat with citrus fruits, chicken tagine, goat cheese, lemon pie.
